bump-friendly

Hi, friends!  So I wanted to share this current fav outfit of mine... It's bump-friendly and comfy (ok, maybe all comfy but the shoes) and super cute.  I'll take a boho-y top with flutter sleeves any day.  While we were in Savannah on vacation I spotted an Impeccable Pig store.  Until then I'd only seen their stuff online, but had always wanted to give it a closer look.  I wandered inside and found this dream of a top.  To me it's a bonus that it's something I can wear during and after pregnancy.

A friend I went to high school with sells Chloe and Isabel jewelry, and after basically falling in love with her Instagram pics I decided to host an online party.  I ended up getting several beautiful pieces like these earrings for free.  How STUNNING are these?!?  Do you love turquoise as much as I do?  I feel so exotic when I wear them, lol.

Emily laughed at me when I suggested this pose, but I wanted to show you my favorite maternity jeans which I started wearing far too early because they are so comfortable and such a great fit!  I'm telling you, Motherhood Maternity puts out some great stuff.  These jeans will expand with you as you grow.  The full panel is comfortable and it stays up... No tugging it up throughout the day.

I'm close to twenty weeks along now!  We found out last week that we are having a GIRL!!  While Luke and I would have most definitely been happy and thankful either way, I kind of secretly hoped for a girl all along... Allie and the new baby will be close in age and will share a room (at least for a while), and I never had a sister and always thought it'd be fun and special (don't get me wrong, I love my brother lots).  What an adventure it will be!!

I've been feeling her move a lot more lately. And SEEING her move, which is so crazy.  It really is like having a little alien inside you, seeing the little pokes and kicks coming up in your skin.  Sometimes I still feel like I'm in a dream.  What a gift God has so beautifully given us.  Oh precious girl, you are already so loved...
