Lots of family time, card playing, and good food.  Isn't that what a vacation is supposed to be?

This was the first time since I've been married (5 yrs ago) that I had a whole week to spend back where I grew up.  It truly was refreshing and good for my soul.

I hate the phrase, "back to the grind."  Sounds so unpleasant.  Can't every day be full of surprises, blessings, challenges, and opportunities?  Sure it can!  Do I sound like an after-school special?

Yes I do!
