It wasn't the best vacation, but it wasn't the worst. As soon as we arrived the Lukester became very sick. The first two days he wasn't really able to do anything. We ended up at Urgent Care and after a couple shots and meds he began feeling better. While he rested I spent a lot of alone time on the beach. I did enjoy the peaceful time with God and got a lot of reading done. Finally on our last full day Luke was ready to rock and roll. We spent that day riding waves on our boogie boards and parasailing, complete with a nice dinner and ice cream run that night.
We got pics from parasailing, but we have to convert the memory card we were given so that we can view them on our Macs. I promise as soon as we have access to the pics, I'll share those, too! It was amazing... so fun and relaxing. We were up so high we could see across the peninsula.
There's something so magical and peaceful about being on a beach. I'm sure most of you feel that way, too. It was good for the soul. I feel mentally and spiritually replenished.
love to you,
jenn
