Update

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, how 'bout you?

Last Wednesday we traveled to good 'ole Hustonville, KY and spent the evening playing cards with my parents and friends. Thursday we headed to my Aunt Brenda's in Lexington where my Dad's side of the family joined us for a de-lish lunch and time of fellowship. That night amidst rain and sleet Luke and I headed to Old Navy for some midnight door-buster deals, haha. And boy was it worth it! Got several new sweaters and shirts for the Lukester and probably saved around $10 per shirt. Once we survived through standing in line in the cold and they opened the doors, we were in and out in twenty minutes. Luke tried on his shirts while we were waiting to check out, lol (over his clothes, that is). We then drove back to Hustonville, exhausted, and slept in on Friday. Friday we enjoyed a relaxing day with Mom and Dad, watching movies and playing ping-pong. Another big highlight of the trip was we got to take our precious Sawyer with us. He had so much fun at his grandmama and grandaddy's and was pretty worn out on our way back home. He always loves running around in my parents' huge back yard. He takes off at full speed as if to shout, "FREEDOM!!" His only negative incident the whole trip was when he snapped at our cousin's dog, Pudge. Sawyer can be pretty protective and snooty and if Pudge gets within a couple feet of him, he kind of growls/squeals like a squirrel of some sort...

Sunday afternoon we celebrated with the Woodwards at Patti's. If you haven't been to Patti's, you need to at some point. Great food and AMAZING decorations, particularly for Christmas. We took a big family pic outside in front of several beautiful Christmas trees. Turned out pretty well, especially considering all the chitlins. After a very filling dinner, we came back to Luke's parents' and enjoyed dessert - derby, pumpkin, and coconut creme pies! Yummmm..... I think I've eaten more pie in the last week than my whole life combined!

We have a busy week and a half left before we are in our HOUSE!! Yipee!! I CANNOT WAIT... Looking at paint samples with my sis very soon!

Until next time...
