good for you pancakes

(yes, those are sneaky chocolate chips in there... typically don't put those in, but today, they found their way in there.)

We have been eating meals based on the Daniel Plan, and we often "tweak" the recipes a bit so that they're tastier, but still fairly healthy.  So here is a recipe we have been enjoying... basically a compromise between Daniel Plan pancakes and your typical pancakes:

Banana oatmeal pancakes

3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 overflowing cup quick oats
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 TBSP Truvia
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups almond milk (or mix with regular milk if you're not a fan)
1 banana, mashed
cinnamon (optional)

Mix dry ingredients.  Add eggs, vanilla, milk, banana and stir.  Cook on griddle or skillet, medium heat.
I like syrup on mine, but they really don't need anything, not even butter.  Luke likes a little drizzle of honey.

P.S. I find myself putting oats in EVERYTHING now... Anyone with me?
