Recent new beauty favs that have rocked my world...

Had to share these 2 products with you that will probably be staples in my makeup bag for a long time.

Urban Decay De-Slick oil-control makeup setting spray & Korres Lip Butter in pomegranate.

Tried these on a whim after a Sephora run.  You know how it is.  You're standing in line to check out and they have all these specials and mini-treats surrounding you, calling out your name...  Thought I'd give these 2 a go...

I was skeptical about the makeup setting spray, even though it gets rave reviews.  I have to say, I LOVE it.  It absolutely lives up to all the hype.  It keeps my makeup fresher, longer.  It's refreshing and light on the skin.  I'm amazed at how it controls oil.  It's a little miracle product.  You do a couple sprays before and after foundation.  Yesterday I had to be at church at 7:30 a.m. so I did my makup at the crack of dawn.  Helped lead worship for 2 services (in bright, hot lighting I might add) and had Sunday school, came home and took a 3-hr nap, got up and ran to the grocery, came back and fixed dinner, and I tell ya, at 8 p.m. my makeup still looked good.  To say the least I am impressed!

Lip balm is one of those products that I can never seem to find just one that I like all-around.  In the past I've had a lip balm I like because of the moisture, another because of the color, etc.  But I believe Korres Lip Butter trumphs all that I've tried.

First of all, I love the shade.  It's basically my natural lip color, only enhanced and brighter.  Very natural and healthy looking.  Secondly, it feels amazing on the lips.  AND, it lasts longer through the day than any other lip balm I've tried.  And something I'm super impressed by - even when I feel like most of it has come off and the shine is going away, when I glance in the mirror, the color is STILL THERE.  Amazing.  It's natural, formulated without parabens, etc.  I love the shade pomegranate.  When I looked in the store, however, there were several fun shades, but I may just stick with this one since I like it so much.  I wouldn't say it has much flavor... perhaps a tiny bit of a fruity smell.  I like that it doesn't have a strong fragrance.  This is in my purse to stay.
